About the Program

The Equestrian Stable Management Program is an international certificate program designed for aspiring managers in the equestrian industry. It combines academic excellence with practical industry expertise and prepares participants to successfully manage equestrian businesses.

The program is designed for people who already have practical experience within the equestrian industry and want to take the next step in their careers / (co-)responsibility for running a stable

The program is primarily delivered online through interactive live sessions. In addition, participants are required to attend 2 live events to complete their learning experience.

Yes. The program has specifically been designed for working professionals. Most online live sessions take place outside regular working hours (Central European Time/Central European Summer Time – German time), making it possible to combine studies with professional responsibilities.

Participants should expect to dedicate approximately 10-12 hours per week, including:

  • Live online sessions
  • Self-study
  • Assignments
  • Group work
  • Project work

Additional time should be planned during the in-person events.

Admission

Applicants should:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have practical experience in the equestrian industry
  • Hold a secondary school leaving certificate
  • Have sufficient English language skills to actively participate in the program

Each application is reviewed individually.

No. Professional riding experience is not required. However, applicants should already be familiar with horses and the equestrian industry through practical experience.

The application consists of four steps:

  1. Submit the online application.
  2. Upload the required documents.
  3. Participate in an online admission interview.
  4. Receive the admission decision.

Successful applicants will then receive their admission documents and further enrollment information.

Yes. The interview helps us get to know applicants better, discuss their motivation and answer individual questions about the program.

Applications are accepted until September 18th. As the number of participants is limited, we strongly recommend applying as early as possible.

Yes. Prospective participants are welcome to schedule an individual online consultation to discuss the program, admission requirements and whether it matches their professional goals.

Tuition Fees

The current tuition fees are published on the program website. The tuition fee includes (according to the weekly schedule):

  • all online and in person lectures
  • expert talks / branch insights
  • Access to the learning platform
  • social events on-site
  • certificate of participation by both program providers

Travel and accommodation costs for on-site activities are not included.

Yes. Tuition fees may be paid for in three installments. Detailed payment options are provided after admission.

Certificate

Participants who successfully complete the program receive the Equestrian Stable Management Certificate of Participation awarded by CHIO Aachen Campus and RWTH International Academy.

International Participants

An official language certificate is not mandatory. However, participants should possess sufficient English skills to actively participate in discussions, complete assignments and communicate within an international learning environment.

If applicable, the participant is responsible for applying, for obtaining and maintaining a suitable visa. The program providers will provide the participant with confirmation of participation in the program for submission to the relevant public authority.
